Plugins
TraxxTool does the core job on its own. Plugins are the optional half: talking to a specific piece of gear, or pulling words and chords in from an outside service. Some are ours and are covered by the TraxxTool licence. Some are community add-ons that are not part of TraxxTool, and stay the responsibility of whoever installs them.
- 24device integrations
- Freeall of them, permanently
- 0paid plugins, ever
Your gear, on the timeline
Every device integration is free, permanently, and covered by the TraxxTool licence. We would rather be the thing your whole rig runs on than charge you for a list of MIDI numbers.
The app ships with no gear in it, so you only carry what you own. Install the ones you need from Settings, then Plugins, then Browse, tick them in Rig, then Devices & MIDI, and each one gets its own page on the Rig tab.
Guitar and bass rigs
Rig, patch and footswitch changes sit on the timeline, so the board follows the song instead of you tap dancing through it.
HeadRush
The rig list comes off the board itself, so cues are named after your own rigs. Build one-tap block combos, label all eight footswitches, and hear the pedal follow along live while you edit.
Kemper PROFILER
Your Performance list is read off the amp over SysEx. Modules, MultiBlocks and slots each get a lane, and it plays live as you work.
Quad Cortex
Presets, scenes A to H, the eight footswitches, tap tempo and the tuner.
Fractal AM4
All 104 presets, the four scenes, amp channel and boost, the four FX slots, tuner and tap. Presets work over plain Program Change with nothing to assign on the unit.
Line 6 Helix
Snapshots, setlists and presets, the stomp footswitches, looper and tuner. Snapshot changes mid-song are the point of it.
Valeton GP-200, GP-180, GP-150 and GP-50
Four separate integrations, one per unit, each with that unit’s own effect blocks, CTRL footswitches, expression pedals, looper, drum machine and song tempo.
Fender Tone Master Pro
All 504 presets by bank and number, the eight effects footswitches, the looper, tuner, tap tempo and the expression pedals. Drop the delay for a verse and have it back by the chorus.
Strymon TimeLine
Presets, bypass, the A, B and TAP footswitches, the knobs and the looper. Set the delay up for the solo, and set it back afterwards.
Keys, drums and vocals
The parts of a rig that are not a guitar pedal, and that nothing else on the market bothers to integrate.
Nord Stage 4
Programs, per-scene section enables, layer levels and pans, drawbars, the arpeggiator, rotary and effects. The whole instrument, on the timeline.
Nord Stage 3
Programs, the organ, piano and synth sections, drawbars, rotary and effects.
Roland FANTOM-06, 07 and 08
All 512 scenes, typed the way Roland’s own sound list prints them, plus per-zone tone changes, the pedals and the tone-edit controls. The scene is up before the intro is.
Roland SPD-SX PRO
Kit changes by name rather than by number. The kit list and each kit’s pad note map are read off the pad over MIDI, so the cue says what the kit is actually called.
Elektron Digitakt
Per-track level, mute, filter and sends across all eight tracks, plus pattern changes.
TC-Helicon VoiceLive 3 and 3 Extreme (VL3X)
Harmony, HardTune, double, delay and reverb on and off, plus the guitar chain. The harmony arrives for the last chorus and leaves again on its own. Both units answer the same control list, so one integration drives either.
Mixing desks
Desk integrations are read-only. TraxxTool reads your channel names off the console and places cues; it never reaches over and changes the desk behind your back.
Behringer X Air
Pulls the real channel names and colours off the desk over the network, so a marker reads "Kick fader" instead of "CC 1". Fader, mute, pan and snapshot cues fire in time on export.
X32 and Midas M32
Faders, mutes, pan, mute groups and scene recalls, placed on the timeline and exported as MIDI.
Allen & Heath CQ
CQ-12T, CQ-18T and CQ-20B. Mutes for every input, DCA, mute group and output, send levels in dB, pan, scene recalls and the three Soft Keys. Mute the whole band but the click between songs, from one marker.
Allen & Heath SQ
SQ-5, SQ-6 and SQ-7. Mutes, levels and pan across all 48 inputs, 12 mix buses, groups, matrices and DCAs, plus scene recalls and the 16 assignable Soft Keys - whatever you have already programmed onto one, a song can press it.
Allen & Heath Qu
Channel, DCA, mix and mute-group mutes, faders, sends to every mix, pan and scene recalls.
Behringer WING community
Import a 32-channel WING-LIVE or USB show recording and the Channel Mapper labels every channel with the desk’s own scribble-strip names and colours instead of "Ch 1..32". Find-my-WING discovers the console for you.
Not covered by the TraxxTool licence
Communicates with a Behringer WING console on your own network using the published OSC remote protocol (read-only, it never changes the desk). Not affiliated with or endorsed by Behringer / Music Tribe; WING is a trademark of Music Tribe Global Brands Ltd. Not part of, or covered by, the TraxxTool licence.
Show control
Playback systems and anything else on stage that takes a MIDI trigger.
QLab
Reads the cues in your QLab workspace that already have a MIDI trigger set, and fires them from a song’s timeline. Live while you edit, and in the exported MIDI track.
And everything else
No integration for your box? If it answers to MIDI, it works.
Generic MIDI no install
Anything with a MIDI socket. Name your own commands once, in words that mean something to you, and place them like any other cue. Every install has this from the start, and it is the only device a fresh install has.
Lighting Studio
Build a light and video show against the song, then let the free ShowVizz player run it at the gig. See how it works.
The optional, separate ones
These four are published separately from TraxxTool and are not covered by the TraxxTool licence. They are free, community-made and unsupported. Each shows its own notice before it installs, and using one is your own decision and your own risk. Nothing you buy from us includes or depends on them. See Licenses and Terms §6.
Karaoke Version Downloader community
Adds Karaoke Version as a source in the Downloader, so the individual stems of custom backing tracks you have already bought land in a ready-to-edit project instead of being clicked down one file at a time. It uses your own account.
Not covered by the TraxxTool licence
Automates downloading from Karaoke Version (karaoke-version.com). Not part of, or covered by, the TraxxTool licence. You are solely responsible for holding a valid account and for compliance with Karaoke Version’s Terms of Service and applicable law. Use at your own risk.
Genius Lyrics community
Adds Genius as a lyrics and section-marker source for lyric sync, so a song arrives with its words and a rough structure already in place.
Not covered by the TraxxTool licence
Fetches copyrighted lyrics from Genius via the third-party lyricsgenius library. Not part of, or covered by, the TraxxTool licence. For personal, non-commercial use only; you are responsible for compliance with Genius’s terms and applicable copyright law.
Ultimate Guitar Chords community
Search Ultimate Guitar and pull a chord sheet straight into the Lyrics and Chords studio, where the chords sync to your lyric timing and export to Stage Traxx.
Not covered by the TraxxTool licence
This add-on fetches chord sheets from ultimate-guitar.com on your behalf, which may violate Ultimate Guitar’s Terms of Service. Chord sheets there are user-submitted transcriptions of copyrighted songs, licensed for display on Ultimate Guitar’s own pages. This plugin is not part of the TraxxTool product and is not covered by its licence; you use it entirely at your own discretion and risk, for personal use only.
Cifra Club Chords community
The same thing for Cifra Club, which covers Portuguese and Spanish repertoire far better than the English-language sites manage.
Not covered by the TraxxTool licence
This add-on fetches chord sheets from cifraclub.com.br on your behalf, which may violate Cifra Club’s Terms of Service. Chord sheets there are user-submitted transcriptions of copyrighted songs, licensed for display on Cifra Club’s own pages. This plugin is not part of the TraxxTool product and is not covered by its licence; you use it entirely at your own discretion and risk, for personal use only.
Plugins are managed inside the app under Settings, then Plugins. Installed plugins keep themselves up to date, and you can turn that off in the same place. TraxxTool is an independent companion tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Stage Traxx, Behringer / Music Tribe, or any other manufacturer named on this page.
